Your viewing options include streaming, internet tv, and blu-ray player. Please find information on the 3 options below.

Streaming

You are welcome to enter in your credentials on the smart tv’s apps like Netflix, Youtube, etc…

Or

You can cast to any of the TVs through Google Chromecast from your smartphone. All the TVs have a Chromecast connected in HDMI 1. Google Chromecast allows you to cast video from Chromecast-enabled apps to your TV. By using your smartphone and Google Chromecast your information stays secure on your phone and there is no need to enter your passwords in multiple locations and clear them upon checkout.

Quick instructions

  • Connect to wifi (Network name: The Treehouse Guest/Password can be found on the house info page)

  • Turn on the TV you want to cast to

  • Open Chromecast-Enabled app

  • Click on the cast icon

  • When you click on the Cast icon a list of TV names should appear (listed below).

  • Great Room TV

  • Upstairs Master TV

  • Bison Room TV

  • Bunk Room TV

  • Click on the desired TV and you should be on your way.

  • Note: If your tv doesn’t show up on the list try turning the tv off then back on.

Internet TV

All the Samsung TV’s in the house have Samsung TV Plus. Samsung TV Plus is a streaming TV platform with 120+ channels. When you turn on a Samsung TV it should default to Samsung TV Plus and you should be able to browse channels. You can also click on the home button on the controller and navigate to Samsung TV Plus.

Blu-Ray Players

There are 2 blu-ray players in the house. One is connected to the Great Room TV and the other is connected to the Bunk Room TV.

  • For Great Room TV, the blu-ray player is connected to the Marantz receiver and is set up on the DVD input.

  • For the Bunk Room TV, the blu-ray player is connected to the Samsung TV on HDMI 3. Click the home button on the Samsung remote control and navigate to Source HDMI 3.
